Your Speaker Search: OregonSpeakers.com can assist you in your search for a speaker, trainer, facilitator, or mediator in two ways. Planners can visit this web site and can search on their own for speakers by name, topic, or fee range. Meeting professionals can choose to contact us and speak directly to a OregonSpeakers.com staff member. We will interview you, asking a variety of questions regarding your event. We will take the time to ensure that we fully understand your program needs and goals. We will then offer suggestions and will provide you with the information (packets, testimonials, videos) you need in order to make your speaker/trainer decision. We can also get you in touch with the speaker directly if you would like. Our memberships: We are a member of, and are very involved, in the National Speakers Association. Most of the speakers we represent are members of this great organization. We are also a proud new member of MPI! We became a member of Meeting Professionals International on September 26th and are very excited to become involved in this wonderful group! We represent speakers who have received the CSP designation and the CPAE award. CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) The Certified Speaking Professional designation, established in 1980 by the National Speakers Association (NSA), is the speaking profession’s international measure of professional platform skill. The letters CSP following a speaker’s name indicate a speaking professional with proven experience, who understands what is required and knows how to deliver client satisfaction. Of the over 4000 members of NSA there are only 447 who have received this designation. OregonSpeakers.com represents one speaker with this designation: Shawna Schuh, CSP CPAE (Council of Peers Award for Excellence) In Feb.1977, the National Speakers Association (NSA) established the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame to honor professional speakers who have reached the top echelon of platform excellence. Admission into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame is a lifetime award for speaking excellence and professionalism. Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process. Each candidate must excel in seven categories: material, style, experience, delivery, image, professionalism and communication.
